Blogging is a good marketing vehicle for solo-professionals – especially if you like to write. Posting regularly at your blog builds your credibility and establishes your expertise. It gives you a way to have a two-way conversation with prospects and clients which is much more engaging than a static, one-way website.
If you’re just getting started, here’s a great series on Blogging Tips for Beginners by Darren Rowse.
It covers all the basics from is blogging right for you to how to design your first blog to how to find readers.
Getting started can feel overwhelming, but just take it one step at a time and share your passion with your readers. It will feel good and keep you motivated knowing that you’re sharing your wisdom with others and making a difference in their lives.
